Long-Term Rentals

Residential rentals of 28 consecutive days or longer are allowed in the City of Palm Springs.

Short-Term Rentals

Racquet Club Estates is currently above the 20% cap for new full Vacation Rental Certificates, however there are options for buyers interested in offering the home as a Short-Term Vacation Rental (STVR). The home may be eligible for a Junior Certificate (which allows for 6 rental contracts per year), or a Homeshare Certificate (which does not have contract number limitations). The current neighborhood density percentage can be found on the Vacation Rental Density Table, which is updated weekly. Owners interested in operating STVRs in neighborhoods that are above the 20% cap can submit a Waiting List Application for full Vacation Rental Certificates.
